Read our Lime poem on the Histories Map
Lime was written for Meet Us and Eat Us, but we didn’t have space to include it in the book. Happily, it was the perfect fit for the Lancaster Litfest Histories Map. The poem takes us back to the age of tall ships, long voyages, and the discovery of citrus fruits as a cure for scurvy. Let your imagination roam free: where will you sail to? Read Lime here.
We hope that Lime sharpens your appetite for the poems that await you in Meet Us and Eat Us. (Are you sure you’ve ordered enough copies? Maybe one more for a friend? Go on, take another look.)
